Allium bulgaricum — also known as Nectaroscordum siculum and commonly called Summer Bells — is one of the most unusual and enchanting ornamental alliums available, and a genuine collector's plant. Unlike the bold upright globes of traditional alliums, Summer Bells produces loosely pendulous clusters of elegant bell-shaped florets in soft pink, white, and cream — hanging downward like delicate lanterns on 38-inch stems and swaying gently in the breeze for a graceful, romantic effect. A subtle and charming departure from typical alliums, it brings an almost cottage-style elegance to borders, cutting gardens, and naturalized plantings. Deer resistant, easy to grow, a superb cut flower, and a pollinator magnet.
Why Gardeners Love It
- Unique pendulous bell-shaped pink-white-cream florets — unlike any standard allium globe

- Top-size 12–14 cm bulbs for exceptional first-year performance
- Deer resistant and beloved by bees and butterflies
- Beautiful fresh cut flower — distinctive and elegant in arrangements
- Easy to grow; naturalizes in the garden over time
