Crocosmia Bulbs - George Davison

Crocosmia Bulbs - Yellow offer stunning contrast and vibrant color to enhance any summer perennial border. This variety, named after George Davison, features sword-shaped green foliage and tubular flowers that are beloved by pollinators. With its wiry stems, it is perfect for cut flower arrangements. The name comes from the Greek language and means "saffron smell," which reportedly can be detected when dried flowers are submerged in water. Crocosmia look best when planted in groups of 12 or more. 

Grow Croscosmia 'George Davison' in well-drained soil in full sun. In colder regions choose a sheltered site and mulch the corms in autumn to protect them over winter. Divide congested clumps in spring.

Plant in full sun to part shade among your perennials. Non-demanding bulbs will come back each year.
