Big Spring Color on Tall, Sturdy Stems

Bring a bold sweep of spring color to your garden with this Darwin Hybrid tulip mix. Large flowers rise on tall, sturdy stems, creating a striking display in beds, borders, and spacious containers. The mix includes shades from red to yellow for a bright, varied planting.

Plant a group along a sunny walkway and watch the flowers open into broad, colorful cups. A few stems cut for a vase let you enjoy the same vibrant spring display indoors.

Choose Your Bulb Quantity

Available in packs of 10, 25, or 100 bulbs. Select your preferred quantity before adding to cart. This listing is for bulbs to plant, not flowering potted plants or cut stems.

Fall Planting

  • Plant in fall before the ground freezes, adjusting timing to your local climate.
  • Choose a sunny location with freely draining soil and loosen the planting area.
  • Set bulbs pointed end up, with the base approximately 6–7 inches below the soil surface.
  • Space bulbs approximately 5–6 inches apart and plant in groups for a fuller display.
  • Water after planting to settle the soil around the bulbs.

Container Growing and Aftercare

  • Choose a sufficiently deep container with drainage holes and a well-draining growing mix.
  • Water as needed during active growth without keeping the soil persistently soggy.
  • After flowering, allow foliage to yellow and wither naturally before removing it.
  • Reduce watering during dormancy and avoid waterlogged conditions.

Tulips need a winter chilling period to flower. Gardeners in warm-winter climates should check local chilling recommendations before planting. Repeat flowering depends on climate and growing conditions and is not guaranteed.

Important Safety Note

Ornamental tulip bulbs are not for eating. Keep bulbs away from children and pets.
