Lobelia erinus 'Rosamond' is a striking compact and trailing lobelia producing masses of ¾-inch carmine-rose flowers with white eyes on leafy, branching stems throughout summer and fall. One of the showiest edging lobelias available, Rosamond performs beautifully as a border plant, groundcover, container specimen, and window box trailer. Once established in moist, rich soil, it will self-sow and return reliably. Deer resistant.

Growing Guide
Starting indoors (recommended): Sow 10–12 weeks before the last frost for the earliest flowers. Seeds are very small — press onto the surface of finely prepared, moist soil without covering; seeds need light to germinate. Keep at 72°F; germination in 14–21 days.
Transplanting: Set out after all frost danger has passed; space 6 inches apart. Remove spent flower spikes to promote continued branching and bloom.
Direct sowing: Direct-sown seed outdoors will begin flowering approximately 2 months after planting.
Site & soil: Full sun to partial shade; well-drained soil, pH 5.5–6.5. Lobelia prefers consistently moist, rich soil — do not allow to dry out completely, but avoid waterlogging. Deep, regular watering is ideal.
