Gladiolus Bulbs - 4th of July Blend

4th of July Blend' is a blend of Gladiolus that produce red, pink, purple, and white flowers. Gladiolus are a summertime favorite, producing large, three foot tall stalks filled with orchid-like flowers. Their tall flower stalks look beautiful in a vase and are a classic combination in cut flower arrangements.

Properly growing gladiolus bulbs requires planting them in loose and well-drained soil with full sun exposure. Place the pointed end of the bulb upwards, approximately 4-6 inches deep and 6 inches apart. Regular watering is necessary, especially during dry spells, and adding mulch can help retain moisture. Taller varieties may need staking for support. After the flowers have faded, allow the foliage to naturally die back before removing it.
