Anemone Seeds - Pulsatilla vulgaris "VIOLET",Great for rock gardens, perennial garden,

Also combines well with spring bulbs or ground covers.
Spring really is the time for bulbs to fill the garden with colour from the early snowdrops and narcissi through to tulips and alliums, we rely on them to kick start the garden into life. There are however, other plants that shine at this time of year and one of my favourites is Pulsatilla vulgaris

Pasque Flower (Anemone Pulsatilla Vulgaris Violet ) - A hardy and easy-to-grow plant from flower seeds, Pasque Flower blooms come in shades of light violet with yellow stamens.
Use as a single specimen or in groups for a color mass. Like all Anemone flowers, it demands well-drained soils. It is a great plant for rock gardens. The majority of leaves develop after the flowers. The entire plant is covered with soft, silvery hairs. The plant remains attractive after it stops blooming, although the leaves may die back in late summer. Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. Remove old flowers to prolong flowering. Cut back to the ground at the end of the season. Anemone Flower plants are great in rock gardens or in the front of a perennial garden. Also combines well with spring bulbs or ground covers.

Grow Anemone Pulsatilla seeds in well-drained soil in partial to full sun. Sow Pasque Flower seeds indoors in trays two months before last frost, and then transplant seedlings after danger of frost has passed. Mature plants can also be divided. Cut back all of the open flowers and large buds before moving, and the plant should produce new growth and become lush and re-bloom in about 4 weeks.
