Enjoyed cooked or raw.  Can be grown year round in sub-tropical areas. Heat Tolerant This hybrid baby bok choi is often referred to as a nai pe tsai type or dwarf type with thick, white, spoon shaped petioles and wrinkled dark green glossy leaves. This beautiful uniform presentation is matched by its delicious, crisp flavor. It is heat tolerant and has better bolt resistance than many open pollinated varieties. Bred for high productivity and heavy yields.
    • Cool-warm season
    • Approx. 700-800 seeds in packet. (A seed will vary in weight and size within a given seed lot. The number of seeds stated is only an estimate.)

    • Planting season: Late spring or late summer/early fall
  • Use whole steamed, in stir-fries, boil, braise or add to soup.

Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in spring after last frost to early summer or late summer/early fall. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. Optimum growing temperatures are in the 60s°F. Exposure to frost or prolonged temperatures below 50°F may result in bolting. Mulch fall crops to avoid premature bolting. Harvest the whole plant when 4-5" tall.
