The versatile Corn Seeds - Popcorn - Robust 997 can be eaten fresh, in salads, or as a garnish. It has a short microgreen maturity time of 7-14 days and a longer 110-115 days for full kernel maturity. Plant during late spring or early summer for optimal growth. The Robust Yellow Hulless Hybrid is a top choice for easy popping due to its thin hull and high yield production. It also has low-maintenance growth.

R997 - popular butterfly popcorn with strong resistance to pests and diseases. Widely adaptable and performs well internationally. Non-GMO hybrid with high vigor and consistent germination.

Cultivation: Corn requires rich, fertile soil. Sow seeds after last frost date. Soil should be at least 65 F for fast germination. (Corn will not germinate if soil temperature is less than 55 F.) Plant in blocks of at least 4 rows of a single hybrid (as opposed to fewer, longer rows) for good pollination and good tip-fill. It is not necessary to remove suckers (side sprouts growing from the base of the plant). Studies show that removing them may actually reduce yields.
For shoots/microgreens, soak seed 6-8 hours. Follow germination temperatures. Broadcast seeds in soil media.
