This plant has blue flower buds that open to fragrant blue and white striped flowers. Extremely disease resistant and dwarf so it never needs staking.

'Blue Flame' Phlox delivers gorgeous blue blooms on bushy, compact plants. Very fragrant, each colorful bud starts out a deep shade of indigo and slowly opens to reveal petals of barely-there blue surrouding violet centers. A dwarf variety, 'Blue Flame' is very resistant to powdery mildew and makes a fine choice for containers and small spaces. (Phlox paniculata)

Dig a hole deep and wide enough to accommodate the bare root. Set the plant such that the crown is at or just slightly below the ground level. Allow roots to fan out from the crown at around a 45 degree angle. Roots should spread out separately, like stretched fingers, from the crown, and not bunch up.

Bare Root Plants

Bare root plants arrived on time and in good condition. There were no planting instructions included? I do not know the health of the plants because they have not sprouted yet or if they will this year?
