PULMONARIA 'Roy Davidson', a deer-resistant perennial, features striking mottled foliage and small, blue bell-shaped flowers in spring. Perfect for shaded areas.

Pulmonarias are ideal for spring gardens under trees and mixed with Hosta and bulbs. They are hardy and can handle drought once established. Lungworts make great ground covers and specimen plants. Prune old stems and grow them under Daylilies and Peonies for a beautiful display. Also great in large groupings with Ferns and Astilbe..

Pulmonarias are versatile, adaptable plants ideal for spring gardens. They make great ground covers and specimen plants, and can be grown under trees and shrubs or mixed with other bulbs and perennials. Simply cut off old stems to maintain a tidy appearance.

Planting Instructions: Dig a hole large enough to encompass the roots without bending or circling. Set the plant in place so the crown (part of the plant where the root meets the stem) is about 1-2 inches below the soil surface. Cover with soil to the original soil surface and water thoroughly. Easily grown in average, medium, well-drained soil in part shade to full shade. Prefer cool soils that are moist with some hummus. Must receive constant moisture and not be allowed to dry out, but is very intolerant of wet, poorly drained soils. Spreads very slowly by creeping roots. Divide plants in the fall.

Disappointed

Shreds of detached dried roots and a small bit of shriveled plant. You should have saved the effort to put this in an envelope. Even well-intentioned people make mistakes, this was one of yours. Don
