This fast-growing annual vine boasts large star-shaped bright green leaves and numerous clusters of creamy white flowers on long-climbing stems. Its striking appearance makes it perfect for use in dried arrangements or for adorning fences, trellises, or large shrubs. It also attracts a variety of pollinating insects from mid-summer until fall.

Wild Cucumber is an annual;  Despite its name, the Wild Cucumber is NOT edible!
Wild Cucumber is a fast-growing vine with fragrant, pale yellowish-white flowers and sharp-spined oval seed pods that burst open when ripe. It thrives in both sun and shade and can reach lengths of 15-20 feet. Be cautious of its aggressive nature.

To grow wild cucumber (Echinocystis lobata), choose a sunny location with well-drained, moist soil, and provide it with a sturdy support structure as it's a vigorous climber. Plant seeds directly in the spring after the last frost or start them indoors for an earlier start.
