Highly prized for their sweet and crunchy pods, these Yard Long Beans are Heirloom, Organic, Non GMO and Untreated.!

Chinese Long Beans, also known as Asparagus Beans, originate from East and Southeast Asia. Cultivated in China for centuries, these beans grow well in warm, tropical climates. These beans are common in Asian cuisines like Chinese, Thai, and Indian cooking. They are stir-fried or used in vegetable dishes. One popular Chinese dish is “Dry-Fried String Beans,” stir-fried and served with a savory sauce. They are also used in soups, curries, and salads. The long bean's texture and taste enhance vegetable stir-fries, maintaining quality in high heat and embracing sauce and seasoning flavors.

CULTURE:
Grow pole beans on trellises or large mesh fencing, 4-pole tepees, or single poles. Sow seeds 1" deep, spaced 3" apart in rows 4' apart after soil temperature exceeds 60°F (16°C). If using poles, plant 7 seeds at the base of each pole.
LARGE PLANTINGS:
Drill a single row of seeds on open ground or through black plastic mulch. Sow 3 seeds/hole, 8" between holes. For large trellised plantings, place fence posts 8-10' apart, and support a 9-gauge galvanized wire at the top. With twine, lash trellis to the wire (or zigzag our natural sisal trellis twine between the top wire and a bottom twine). Anchor bottom of trellis with stakes or hoops of 9-gauge wire.
Please note: Maturity, adaptability and disease tolerance may differ under your specific climate and/or growing conditions.
Culinary tips: Ideal for Dryfried Beans and a great substitute for string beans, these versatile Chinese Yard Long Bean Seeds can be deep-fried, stir-fried, steamed, or added to soups. Simply cut into 2" sections before cooking.

my order

Please note, I tell you about the beans after I plant I am looking forward in Planting beans and J. cucumbers. But on the rest of my order, I ordered asst of onion / sets, white and yellow. You sent only red (2 packs of red onions, 20 total), now with the virus I can not go to store where they might be sold. I am upset , I was counting on you to deliver, here in PA onions should have been planted by now. Normally they are sold by the pound, note I do not mind paying if the weight went over. When I called I let you know I am off the farm and understand if bill goes over. People where counting on me to deliever. I try to plant extras for a local Meal on Wheels
