This fast-growing shrub features soft branches and large, fuzzy leaves, producing long, trumpet-shaped golden yellow flowers without scent. Native to high-altitude regions of the Andes from Colombia to Bolivia (2000–3000 m), it is widely cultivated as an ornamental plant and thrives in various warm-temperate environments.

ITEM DESCRIPTION
Angel's Trumpets are one of Mother Nature's most breathtaking plants. You can almost watch them grow as they rapidly form three-foot tall bushes. Then the real show begins. Each plant can have dozens, even hundreds, of blossoms at once. Best of all, they continue blooming all the way through frost! This Orange variety has extremely large single blossoms that measure up to twenty inches long.
Grows 6-8 feet tall!
Extremely fragrant, especially in the evening. Angel's Trumpets are excellent container plants that make an impressive display for your deck or patio. These tropical beauties thrive in bright sunlight during the dog days of summer; just make sure to give them plenty of water. Can be brought indoors in the north for use as a houseplant. Hardy in zones 8-11. Blooms from summer to frost, shipped potted, fragrant.
Multiple, vibrant, deepest orange trumpet shaped flowers up to 30cm in length bloom simultaneously and repeatedly throughout the growing season. Each flower emits a gorgeous perfumed scent especially in the evening making this an idea patio/conservatory plant. Plants are shrubby in nature but tender in colder climates growing from 1 meter to 2.5m.
SOWING ADVICE
Soak seed for 24 hours in lukewarm water, then sow in cell packs or flats,press into soil and barely cover. Needs light to germinate. Kept at 60-70° F., germination is in 21-60 days. Transplant into 3 inch containers when seedlings large enough to handle. When rooted, place into the garden 4 feet apart.
Comments: Full or part sun. Tolerates average water, almost any soil with good drainage. Best performance in rich soil with ample water. Huge, showy,sweetly fragrant flowers attract bees, butterflies and spectacular moths.Thorny seed pods develop after bloom, are excellent for cutting. Can be wintered over in a frost-free location; give some light and a bare minimum of water. All parts of plants are toxic; they easily resist deer and rabbits.
