Planting & Care

Plant in well-draining soil with each bulb's pointed end facing up. Water once well after planting. To encourage perennial returns: plant 8–10 inches deep, fertilize with low-nitrogen organic fertilizer in spring, remove spent flower heads after blooming, and allow foliage to wither completely before removal. Avoid summer irrigation while bulbs are dormant. Darwin Hybrid varieties in the mix are strong perennial performers.
