The Mary Washington Asparagus Seeds are a perennial vegetable that is rust resistant, vigorous, and produces long, thick spears in May and June. This HEIRLOOM variety is an old favorite in the U.S. truck garden and commercial market, with early, dark-green spears noted for their uniform size and delicious taste. Cutting season can last up to 60 days and the seeds are resistant to certain rusts and blight.

Fill furrows with compost as ferns grow. No harvesting 1st year. 2-3 week harvest 2nd year. Extend each year until 8 weeks. Mulch 2-3" after planting & harvest. Seeds: 1/2" deep in 4-6" pots.
