Scabiosa Perfection Blue is easy to grow from seeds and features fern-like foliage, 20 inch stems, and rich lilac-blue blooms. Ideal for borders and beds, this sun-loving plant looks attractive in mass groupings. To care for the plant, provide stakes in windy areas and deadhead flowers to prolong blooming season. Divide every 2-3 years for vigorous growth and ensure well-draining soil for winter survival.
Start Scabiosa seeds indoors 10 weeks before planting. Gently press Caucasica seeds into mix. Keep moist until germination. Sow Pincushion seeds after frost danger. Plant in well-drained, weeded soil. Space seeds 20" apart in groups of 3 - 4. Press into soil and keep moist.
