This Aster variety (Callistephus Tall Double Gremlin Yellow) is suitable for a rock garden, front border, or container. Growing up to 30 inches tall with an upright habit, these Aster Callistephus flowers are truly stunning. Grown from Aster seeds, Tiger Paw Asters produce large, double blooms with numerous curved petals. The brilliant yellow color adds a vibrant glow. This variety is also perfect for cut-flowers.

Start Aster seeds indoors 6 - 8 weeks before the end of frost, or for areas with long growing seasons, the Aster  seeds can be started directly outdoors in a prepared seedbed. This Aster is very heat resistant and virtually worry free. It will produce non-stop blooms from summer until the first hard frost in fall. Deadheading helps to keep the plant tidy and promotes continuous blooming.
Start the Aster seeds in the early spring. Press the flower seeds into the soil and lightly cover them. Transplant Aster plants outside into a position of full sun to partial shade. They also prefer well-drained soil.
