Greenwave MUSTARD SEEDS are Non-GMO heirloom seeds known for their versatile use. These bright green ruffled leaves boast a moderately hot flavor that can be mellowed through cooking. With great heat resistance and cold tolerance, it originates from India and is now widely used globally.

Green Wave Mustard Seeds can be used for growing microgreens, with a flavor that is similar to ballpark yellow and is specifically made from mustard greens. These seeds have a consistent and mildly spicy taste and produce rapidly growing, uniquely shaped green leaves. Harvest smaller leaves for salads after 21 days, while larger mature leaves take 45 days to grow.
.Growing Mustard: In cooler climates, MUSTARD SEEDS - Greenwave can thrive during the summer, while in warmer climates, they are best planted in the spring or fall. To achieve optimal growth, it is recommended to directly plant non-GMO, heirloom Green Wave Mustard seeds at a depth of 1/4" and thin them to a distance of 6" apart. For a continuous supply, consider succession planting.
Mustard prefers soil with plenty of amended soil.
Culinary Uses : Greens grown from Green Wave Mustard seeds are moderately hot, but cooking mellows them. They are very versatile, and can substitute for kale in many recipes. One common use of mustard greens is in frittatas. Saute the greens with some onions, then add some eggs, cream, and cheese. Bake in the oven until set. The greens can also be used to spice up your white bean soup.
