Its tall vines can reach up to 5 feet in height and produce crisp, tender pods that measure 2 to 3 inches in length. Sowing: Plant peas outdoors 4-6 weeks before last frost or when soil temp is 40°F+. •Avoid temps above 75°F. •Use powder inoculant if planting peas for the first time. •Plant 2" apart and deep in light soil + full sun; double rows 6-8" for trellis. •For early spring crop, plant similarly in fall. •Do not plant peas near onions or garlic.

Growing: Support the climbing of growing pea vines with a 5-6' trellis. Keep pea plants moist before blooming; slightly increase watering after blooming. Carefully remove weeds and use mulch to retain moisture and control weeds. Tolerant of wilt but not mildew.
