Tulip Polychroma,  (Species Tulip)  Fully hardy.  Perennial.  This beautiful, low growing, dainty tulip, has white blooms that when open to catch the sun, show off the brightly lit yellow Centre of the flower.   Ideal for naturalising, these tulips will produce good clumps and will spread. There is no need to lift the bulbs in the winter.
GROWING
For optimal growth, it is recommended to plant species tulip bulbs three times deeper than their height, which is generally around 2 inches. This means a 2-inch bulb should be planted at a depth of 4 to 6 inches.
