The Iconic Caribbean Super Hot — Tropical Fruity Fire
Red Habanero (Capsicum chinense) is the iconic Caribbean super-hot — wrinkled, lantern-shaped fruits ripening from green to vivid orange-red, with a fiery tropical heat that made habaneros famous worldwide. At 100× the heat of a jalapeño, this is not for the faint-hearted. A staple in Caribbean pepper sauces and jerk marinades.
