Abutilon, commonly known as the flowering maple, is not related to the maple tree, but it does feature maple-like palmate leaves. It shares similarities with mallows and hibiscus, and is known for its continuous bloom and perennial nature.

These are cousins of Abutilon, and in addition to similar flower shapes, they share the ability to produce dozens of flowers. In fact, a happy Abutilon can flower almost non-stop, in shades from white to pale yellow Pink to deep coral and red.
Abutilon (Abutilon Hybridum Bella Pink) - Abutilon are know for their heavy blooms, but this Bella Pink is an unbelievably heavy bloomer with an upright stature. Abutilon seeds grow well in a window sill or the summer container garden. Its 3 inch soft pink flowers, often doused with a sprinkle of salmon, are densely clustered on the tips of upright stems.
