The Aji Amarillo Pepper, also referred to as the "yellow chile pepper," is frequently likened to the Scotch Bonnet but with slightly less heat. Its thick skin and vibrant orange color emit a raisin-like scent and a fruity taste with hints of mango and passion fruit.

As experts in the field of peppers, we recommend enriching the soil with compost and regularly providing compost tea for optimal growth. Additionally, mulching with a layer of compost can further promote healthy development.
Growing Hot Peppers in Containers
Peppers can be grown all year long in containers. It is suitable for apartment dwellers and gardeners who live in cool regions where the number of growing days are limited. Many pepper enthusiast grow peppers in pots so they can have fresh peppers all year long. It’s best to use 5 gallon containers so the roots do not get too over-crowded

Better late than never

Great to have live plants instead of seeds of delicious aji amarillos. Too bad they didn’t arrive until nearly July after garden had been planted so I was forced to put them in pots. We’ll see how they perform vs from seed. Plants do look great so far and staring to flower.
