This Heirloom bell pepper variety is well-known and commercially popular in the United States. Introduced in 1828, the large sweet peppers have thick walls and a sweet flavor. They measure approximately 4 1/2 inches long and 4 inches wide and are resistant to tobacco mosaic. Suitable for various soil types, these peppers are versatile and can be used in roasts, stuffing, sauces, and salads.Planting : We plant all of our peppers with a good shovel full of compost in the planting hole, and then give them a good dose of compost tea every few weeks for the first 6 weeks of growth. We also mulch around each of our pepper plants with a good 1 to 2″ thick layer of compost.
Growing Hot Peppers in Containers
Peppers can be grown all year long in containers. It is suitable for apartment dwellers and gardeners who live in cool regions where the number of growing days are limited. Many pepper enthusiast grow peppers in pots so they can have fresh peppers all year long. It’s best to use 5 gallon containers so the roots do not get too over-crowded

Dead stinky plants

I do not recommend buying from this company. My plants took a long time to come was packaged horribly. No shipping info and all plants were dead when I received them. RIP OFF!!

Arrived barely clinging to life.

I’m sure the plants were vibrant when they were shipped. I don’t understand how these young plants were expected to survive a week long journey bouncing around in a box without sunlight and water for a week! I would have gladly paid for a shipping method that would have delivered viable plants. They died and I wasted money and time. Very unhappy

Plants died

I was supposed to get three plants/ I only received two. They instantly shed most of their leaves. One plant died after about a day. The other one doesn’t look good either and I don’t know if it will make it....
