Brodiaea Queen Fabiola (Triteleia)

Light violet, blue anthers; star to trumpet shaped flowers held at the top of slender stems, also know as Triteleia these lovely Bulbs should be more widely grown, excellent long lasting cut flowers.
Brodiaea is a bulbous perennial with funnel-shaped flowers in June and July. Flowers can be blue, lilac, or white on slender stems similar to agapanthus. Requires sunny spot and shelter from frost. Ideal for borders, pots, and cut arrangements..

PLANTING Bulb

Brodiaea can be grown from bulbs, known as corms. Ideally, they should be planted in light soil that doesn't get waterlogged. Although brodiaea is frost hardy, and can survive temperatures down to -5ºC, in cold regions of the UK, they are best planted in containers that can be brought under cover in winter.
