Organic Chinese parsley Seeds-(Split Seeds)it increases the germination rate.

SPLIT SEEDS-Regular seed is actually the whole seedpod that contains two or more seeds. For monogerm or split seed, the pods are split open to collect the single seeds. Many growers prefer split seed for precision planting and a higher seed count per pound. Microgreen growers indicate that split seed germinates faster and more consistently. This is the same Leisure variety we offer in whole seed.

(Coriandrum Sativum), grows easily from herb seeds, and it produces a flat, parsley-like leaf, and round herb seeds. Both the seeds (Coriander) and the leaves (Cilantro) are aromatic and flavorful being used in numerous foods around the globe. Cilantro Santo is a steady grower, giving lots of leaves to harvest for Cilantro. It blossoms in summer with tiny white to pale pink flower clusters. Bees, butterflies and birds are attracted to the flowers.

One of the easiest to grow, most recognizable fresh herbs. It can be sold bunched at full size or as a micro green. The foliage is called Cilantro, while the edible seed is known as Coriander. Popular in many cuisines. The flowers are a strong attraction for beneficial insects.

This seasoning herb is a plant, which grows very rapidly in mild climates. It will go into flowers and seeds quickly in hot weather conditions. The fragrant young leaves and shoots are used as a seasoning green in stir-fry, soup or garnish. Dried leaves and matured seeds are also used as seasonings in Oriental cooking.Chinese parsley and coriander. Coriander is actually the name of its mature seeds. The leaves of the plant are indispensable to Latin American cooking, especially Mexican cuisine. The seeds are used widely, from flavouring breads and soups in Egyptian cooking; adding a licorice kick to curry powders and chai tea; to accompanying liqueurs in Russia and Scandinavia.

This flavorful and nutrient-rich herb is used in Asia to season soups, noodle dishes and meat and poultry. If it is cooked at all, it is cooked only for a very short time. Often cooks chop it and add it as the final ingredient to flavor a dish that has already been cooked. Known as cilantro or coriander in the West, Chinese Parsley is one of the most important flavorings in Asian cuisine.

To harvest Cilantro, snip the leaves for fresh use when the plant is 6 inches tall or more. Snip off just the top 2 - 3 inches of the plant to ensure continuous growth. Slow to bolt Cilantro allows a longer harvest of the leaves before the plant flowers. Two - three weeks after flowering, the plant sets small round, ribbed, beige-colored seeds in late summer. To harvest Coriander seeds, wait 2 - 3 weeks for seeds to dry. Before seed begins to fall, cut stems 8 inches long, bundle stems together with rubber bands, place a bag over the bundle, and hang up-side-down, allowing the dried seeds to fall into the bag.

How To Grow Cilantro From Herb Seeds: Directly sow Cilantro seeds outdoors when frost season has passed. Cilantro herb seeds is not fussy about soil, but it does need full sun and regular moisture. Sow small rows at 2 - 3 week intervals for an extended harvest all season long.
