The Songbird Wildflower Mix is a carefully formulated blend of 12 annual and perennial species — including sunflowers, coneflowers, cosmos, bachelor buttons, and more — chosen specifically for their ability to produce seed heads and blooms that attract and feed seed-loving songbirds. Cardinals, Goldfinches, and Buntings are among the regulars. Plant this mix and enjoy a two-season benefit: a beautiful, colorful wildflower garden all summer, followed by birds foraging through the standing seed heads in fall.

Sowing Guide
When to sow outdoors (recommended): 1–2 weeks before the average last spring frost. For a staggered approach, sow half 4 weeks before the average last frost and the remainder 1–2 weeks after.
Direct sowing only: Starting indoors is not recommended for this mix. Scatter seed and rake in lightly to a depth of ¼ inch. Ensure seeds are covered so birds cannot spot and remove them before germination.
Sowing rate: Approx. 25 seeds per sq ft; covers approx. 400 sq ft at ¼ lb.
