Growing Guide

Sowing: Surface-sow; do not cover seeds — light is required for germination. Keep seeds consistently moist at 55–75°F. Germination in 15–20 days.

Direct sowing: Sow at a rate of 1 oz per 1,000 sq ft (2½ lbs per acre) after last frost. Space 6 inches apart.

Site and soil: Full sun to partial shade; well-drained soil, pH 6.0–6.5. Plants stay compact without deadheading; cutting back lightly can rejuvenate plants if they become open or sprawling.
