Fall Planting Guide
- Plant corms in autumn for spring flowering.
- Choose well-drained soil in a sunny to partially shaded location. Avoid sites where water collects.
- Set corms with their pointed tips facing upward. Follow the planting-depth and spacing guidance supplied with your bulbs.
- Arrange in groups or irregular drifts for a natural-looking display.
- Water after planting to settle the soil, without leaving the growing area saturated.
After-Bloom Care & Naturalizing
Leave foliage intact until it has yellowed and died back naturally so the corms can replenish their reserves. If planted in a lawn, wait until the foliage has died back before mowing that area.
Leave corms undisturbed where conditions are suitable. They may gradually form larger groups, but repeat flowering and naturalization depend on climate, drainage and growing conditions. Protect plantings from digging animals as needed; pest resistance is not guaranteed.
Bulb Quantity Options
Choose a package of 10, 25 or 100 bulbs (corms). This listing is for planting material, not seeds or potted flowering plants. Options select quantity, not flower color.
