This variety is considered an heirloom and can be eaten fresh, or allowed to mature and be ground for flour, grits or cornmeal. The Truckers Corn matures in approximately 75-100 days. There are approx. 1,900 seeds per pound. The corn can grow between six and nine feet tall.The ears are 8-10 inches with 14-18 rows closely spaced.
