Creeping Phlox

Creeping Phlox (Phlox subulata) is one of spring’s most reliable ground covers — a low-growing, mat-forming perennial that erupts in a carpet of color each April and May, then settles into tidy evergreen foliage for the rest of the season. It’s ideal for slopes, rock gardens, wall edges, and border fronts where you need color without height.

• Form — live plants (3-pack), well-rooted and ready to establish
• Use — ground cover, slope stabilization, rock garden, border edging, container spiller
• Bloom season — spring (April–May); evergreen foliage year-round
• Growing conditions — full sun to light shade; drought-tolerant once established; deer-resistant
• Spread — fills in quickly; one plant can spread 18–24 inches over time
