The Dinnerplate Dahlias called "Moms Special" produce impressively large and colorful blooms, with each individual bloom measuring 8-10" in diameter. These dainty flowers have pale, streaked petals in a soft lilac color, giving them the appearance of being coated in sugar. This perennial plant will only thrive in Zones 8-10. Comes with 2tubers.

Dahlia Dinnerplate - Moms Special is a vibrant, fast-growing tender perennial known for its unique forms and stunning colors. Perfect for flower borders, containers, and cut flowers, it adds a touch of color to any garden from mid-summer to frost.

Planting instructions: Plant Dahlias in well-drained soil in a sunny location. Supply ample moisture and fertilizer during the growing season. When the plant reaches 1-1/2' in height, trim entire plant to 1'. In about two weeks trim the plant again back to about 1-1/2'. This will encourage your Dahlia to produce an abundance of flowers. Remove all spent flowers.
