A low-growing, bushy, evergreen shrub to 30cm tall with ascending to upright branches bearing lance-shaped to spoon-shaped leaves up to 3cm long with toothed and often red-tinted margins. Small, white to pale pink-purple flowers are borne in crowded termninal clusters in summer
small, green, spoon-shaped leaves,red-edge and serrated. This hebe is found in rocky places in the drier mountains of Marlborough and Canterbury, South Island, New Zealand. Hebe raoulii is hardy, and needs to be grown in sunny open conditions.

Sowing Direction:
) Rapidly germinating, keep seed in constant moisture (not wet) with temperatures of about +20°C [68°F]. Seeds must be covered thinly. Do not cover very small seeds, but tightly press into the earth. Keep in cooler conditions after germination occurs.
Product Care:
Cover with plastic to conserve moisture. Remove plastic often to allow ventilation. Keep moist throughout the germination period. Germination can be slow & erratic. As seedlings grow provide increasing quantities of light and fresh air.
When to Sow:
Sow anytime indoors. Soak seed overnight. Spread seed between layers of wet paper towel. Seal in a plastic bag with plenty of air space. Refrigerate for 4 weeks. Keep moist.
Where to Sow:
Best sown into a tray of quality seed raising mix.
General:
To maintain a fresh look all year round cut back after flowering. Now Zealand natives often take a little while to germinate. Please be patient they are worth the wait

Very adaptable. Grows just about anywhere.
How to Sow:
Place seed thinly on surface of soil only. Do not cover seed with soil.
