Jackpot is a full season, high quality, homozygous bicolor sweet corn with intermediate resistance to common rust. 8.5-9" ears are produced on strong growing 6.5' plants and have 16-18 rows of tender and sweet bicolor kernels. The cylindrical ears have strong fill and are covered with a medium green husk that offers good tip cover protection and adequate flagging.
Sowing:
Sow seeds directly in the garden in spring after soil has warmed. Does best in deeply cultivated soil that is high in nitrogen. To aid pollination, avoid planting in a single row. For succession, plant every 3 weeks until early summer.
Care:
Water generously and fertilize when plants are 12-18" (30-45cm) tall.
Harvest:
Pick when silks turn brow.
