About Navy Beans - Tiny White, Dry
So called for their popularity in the United States Navy during the early part of the 20th Century, Navy Beans are a small and white (not blue!) bean used for making the "baked beans" dish. The texture is creamy and dense, very hearty and the flavor subtle.

Heirloom Navy Bean Seed. This heirloom is a dry shell variety. Navy Bean is a great soup bean and a favorite of ours for Boston Baked Beans. The 16" - 18" tall bush type plants are very sturdy. This plant produces superior yields of small pure white beans. Navy Bean pods are ready to pick when they are mature and dried down. 95 days until full maturity.
